This paper aims to understand the best practices linking natural and social resources of Vinho Verde Demarked Region known, commonly, as Minho, in terms of the touristic per- ception present, mainly, at Quintas farms that produce wine, but also present tourist services considering the great importance of these units when it comes to understand the cultural identity of this northwest part of Portuguese mainland. To achieve these goals, we must consider a great urrent information that we acquired from the producers and tourist agents operating at Quintas, especially those ones with small productions considering also the association to Confraria do Vinho Verde, a brother- hood dedicated to the knowledge and wine promotion , but with so much interest in terms of its Heritage.
There are significant efforts, along the XXth century, that indicate the gradual changing of the image of the product vinho verde.
