The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern Anchor "It's about a magical circus in the s that mysteriously pops up in towns at night. The way Morgenstern writes is so magical. She really describes the mystery and beauty of the circus in a way that I've never read before. It's like you're really there in the midst of the magic, like a movie but even better because it's inside your head. I was in a daze for weeks afterward, just searching for something similarly written. I have no words to describe how amazing it is and how much I loved it. I just really recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it yet. The Doll People series by Ann M.

Various issues that comes under the self-help, including relationships. Interesting reading for the present day readers.

Mar 11, Yuga rated it liked it Shelves: If you like reading lifestyle or relationship related articles or research or are otherwise interested in reading this stuff, pick this up. I really liked the writing style as such. The book reflects on our day to day life, challenges of urban modern lifestyle, relationship issues etc.

It talks about our everyday issues and gives us third person perspective on these matters. Do not expect that book will tell you something that normal educated and well read person did not know. But it will make If you like reading lifestyle or relationship related articles or research or are otherwise interested in reading this stuff, pick this up.

But it will make you reflect and that is definitely important. Aug 31, Amit Acharya rated it really liked it. The non judgemental take on relationship was a real pleasure to read. More power to her pen. Jul 13, Deepak Narang rated it liked it. Too generic in nature!

Design Your Future — Why I Highly Recommend the Book “Designing Your Life”

May 25, Karan Kumar rated it really liked it. Only if you are interested in these types of books on relationships. Worth reading. May 15, P A Sivachander rated it really liked it. The first thing I would like to say is don't expect to find answers to any of the deep questions that you always wanted to find an answer to and never got a base or a start to hold on to, in this book.

So why 4 stars? The answer is so simple.

This book gives one of the paths or a start that you needed for all these days to understand things. Be it your inner cravings for your opposite gender or the same , be it the small things which zoom up so suddenly to create havocs in your life, be it you The first thing I would like to say is don't expect to find answers to any of the deep questions that you always wanted to find an answer to and never got a base or a start to hold on to, in this book.

Be it your inner cravings for your opposite gender or the same , be it the small things which zoom up so suddenly to create havocs in your life, be it your lover's way of talking to you, be it your friends, be it your crush or be it sex, it all depends on one thing.

It is you who create a space for everything that happens around you to happen. If you change, the surrounding changes.

Read this book just to get the base of so many questions for which we always wanted the answers but only disappointed go hear others term them baseless.

Vinita Dawra has tried honestly to come forward with most closely correct answers you can ever expect to get for those questions. Read it once. Then read books which deals explicitly with majority of them.

Or do it vice versa. None cares. She boards the ship alone, blithely unaware of the news that lies in wait for her by way of a letter: Bernard may have had somebody else in mind all along as his travel partner on this cruise. Another is that Harriet is not as alone on the boat as she had thought. The others come later, and they are terrible ones; they hit mercilessly like a sucker punch to the solar plexus.

But it takes a while to get there. These chapters are interspersed with ones narrated by an unnamed Ralph Edwards stand-in, an omniscient host addressing Harriet, recounting the days from her birth to her dotage. And yes, pinball has come a long way since the Spot Bowler of your adolescence.

The reflective mind is a pinball, pitching and careening, rebounding off anything it makes contact with. It's not an easy item. But don't worry, my team is on it, and they work magic.

This Finance Book Just Might Change Your Life

A police car on a routine patrol stops in front of the house. We like to know what's going on. What is going on? They should all be here soon.

Before the movie star is back, a television truck pulls up. Richard isn't sure if this is something that the movie star's assistant also arranged, or if when the cops radioed that there was a horse in a hole, someone picked up the information. The street is filling with people. I'm counting heads—duck, duck goose.

The horse is spooked.

He can't see over the hill, but there's a lot of noise. The vet listens to Lucky with a stethoscope. Now, what's the proposal? Have you ever used one? And you? Is the vet there? Also, have the police clear the road above the hill. Once we pick the horse up, we need to put him down somewhere. Lucky doesn't like any of it, including the sound of the helicopter. He does a lot of stomping.

The chopper comes in again a few minutes later—they lower the harness. The girl is the only one that Lucky will let in close enough.

The horse is settling down, looking glassy-eyed, stoned.

The harness is a huge canvas sling, like a straightjacket. As soon as it's around the horse and the cable is attached, the girl scrambles out of the hole.

On the top of the hill the television cameras are rolling—there's a line of TV trucks, satellite dishes up, antennas extended.

“Own the day. Own your life.” Book review. – Fit Yourself Club

The movie star manages to look directly at the cameras and give a big wave, just before the signal goes out to lift the horse. It happens quickly; the harness pulls taut, the horse's feet are off the ground and he's rising out of the hole. He's free and he's flying. Everyone cheers.

Richard bursts into tears. Lucky is flying.

The sight of a horse hovering overhead, a horse in a sling, tethered to a helicopter, is something you'd never imagine. The second the horse has all four legs on the ground he's going to want to bolt. You have to get the cable off so he doesn't drag us.
